General Info: The Cornerstone Schools of Alabama provides a range of educational services for more than 220 students in kindergarten through grade eight. Founded in 1993, it maintains elementary and middle schools. The school s academic curriculum includes visual arts, math, science, social studies and physical education. The Cornerstone Schools of Alabama also offers special education programs for gifted and talented students. It is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the school maintains a parent-teacher organization and art club. The Cornerstone Schools of Alabama s extracurricular activities include piano and music. It also organizes field trips and provides volunteer opportunities.
