Dr. Carey Heller is a licensed psychologist. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at Jewish Family Services in Richmond, Virginia, which is affiliated with the Central Virginia Consortium. Prior to that, Dr. Heller completed an externship at the DC Superior Court’s Child Guidance Clinic. He has experience conducting psychotherapy and assessments with individuals across the lifespan in school, community mental health center, group practice, and forensic settings. Dr. Heller received his doctorate in clinical psychology from The George Washington University. "‹ Dr. Heller’s assessment specialties include evaluations for learning disabilities, ADHD, and mood/behavioral disorders in children and adolescents. His therapy specialties include work with children, adolescents, and young adults in their 20s and 30s for a wide variety of issues including: anger management, depression, anxiety, ADHD, family conflict, social skills deficits, ongoing medical issues (i.e., diabetes, Huntingtons Disease), and life transition issues. Dr. Heller currently provides assessment services as well as individual and family therapy.
