Absolute Kitchen Distributors

First I'd like to say I agree with the other reviewer Maggy S, but I'd like to caveat that they should be named Absolute WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE Kitchen Distributors. The owner, as he calls himself, is rude and obnoxious.



Beyond that, they screwed up my cabinet order and tried to blame it on my cabinets being delivered to the wrong address. Once they knew this excuse was going to fly, they then blamed it on the cabinet maker and blew my whole renovation schedule by more than a week.



Then, the counter top guys come to my house and break my front storm door and they refuse to fix it. They blamed it on the wind and said they weren't responsible for acts of nature. Here's the thing, I spent greater than $15K with them and they wouldn't own up to a $25 in parts to fix the problem, not to mention, my contractor volunteered his labor at no cost. Then they had the nerve to ask me if they could come out and take photos of the great job my contractors did installing the cabinets.



I agree. There are a lot of other decent places out there to purchase your cabinet. I recommend you look elsewhere for three reasons; 1)they have the worst customer service, 2) they are that knowledgeable about their products, and 3) they draw plans by hand leaving a lot of room for error. However, they will try to convince you that this way is better. Please! Stop being cheap and buy/update to today's standard and come out of the Flintstone Age.



As they say, hind sight is 20/20 where everything is much clearer. Please do your homework first.

They should change their name to Absolute WORST Kitchen Distributors.



The company was recommended by my contractor and from the beginning I had nothing but problems. The sales person I worked with had nothing to offer creatively to help with the design and they HAND WRITE all their orders out.



Here's are some of the highlights:



- The cabinets I originally wanted weren't available and the salesman didn't know about it;



- I wanted to be notified when the counters were being measured so I could make sure it was what I wanted. One of their salespeople was rude and snotty to me when I called and asked why I hadn't heard from the counter people. It turned out they'd been there and left without calling me.



- Five days before I'm supposed to move back into my house the countertop was delivered - it was the wrong countertop, cut the wrong way. The sales person had the nerve to tell me it would be a week before I could have a new one.



Fortunately, I'd requested a revised order form that included the name of the counter I'd chosen to prove the mistake wasn't mine.



- The kicker? The whole kitchen was measured incorrectly.



Do not ever use this company. There are a lot of great kitchen places out there and this isn't one of them.
