Peking Wok

One of the measures of skill in a Chinese restaurant's cook is Hot and Sour soup...and this place has the best in the area!. Some places make it too thick, and/or use rep pepper flakes to provide the heat, which overpowers the other ingredients. Here, it is the pure and simple soup it is supposed to be...not too hot, with just enough sour to complement the pork and mushrooms. Other standout dishes are the Peking-sauced Shrimp or Chicken, the Shanghai Fried Rice and the Ma-Po Tofu (available both with and without meat).
