I love this place. It is clean inexpensive and Tony and his staff are lovely. They have been to me and my daughter. We happened to be in the salon when the "horrible attitude" reviewer walked in. I assure you she is pointing the fingers the wrong way. She was simply horrible. My daughter and I watched in disbelief. The details do not merit description. That said, your missing out on a great long lasting mani-pedi if you let this nutty woman influence your choice. I have been in the neighborhood my entire life and been to most every nail salon in Meyerland and bellaire. Give them a try.

I have been going to Q Nails for quite a while, as has my daughter, friends and granddaughter. We have found Tony, the owner and his staff to be most pleasant, not to mention very capable. I happen to have been in the shop when Trish D. came in and I can, without hesitation, tell you that the story she is portraying never happened. When she arrived Tony was working on me and left me to speak with her at the front desk. She wanted him to stop what he was doing and work on her, when he explained that he could do her later because he had a client she threatened to write something negative about him. There were several customers in the shop at that time and they all witnessed this. Tony was much more polite to her than I would have been. Tony takes walk ins but can't guarantee that he can accommodate you if you want him without an appointment. After she left several of the patrons discussed what had happened and episodes they had experienced involving this woman in the past. She is a teacher at HCC and this certainly crates a doubt in my mind concerning HCC's choice of instructors.

I dislike leaving negative reviews. However, this is warranted. I'm very particular about my nails. I like to choose who I would like to do my nails and will even return at a later time if that person is not available. The owner is not really a nice person. He is mean. I can't say it any other way. He raised his voice and humiliated me twice just because I didn't want the girl who cut off my nails to serve me and do it wrong again because she can't understand English. I even went back to talk to him about how I felt. He raised his voice again. I teach ESL to foreign students every day- that's my job. Instead of being mean and speaking badly about customers in Vietnamese (some of which I understood- I am a linguist), he should be happy to live in this country. Not a pleasant environment. I'm Caucasian- I've seen him treat African-Americans even worse.
