Wonderland Head Start Center is one of the locations of the Head Start Program in East Baton Rouge Parish. Established in 1965, the Head Start Program includes health, education and family services for low-income families and disabled children. The program employs a staff of trained professionals that offers programs for children development. The Head Start Program features a creative curriculum for formal and informal learning processes, as well as conducts indoor and outdoor, and individual and group activities. The program offers transportation, medical referral, training, and crisis and emergency assistance services. It also conducts physical and dental examinations and nutrition and growth assessments.
