Sheriff’s Office Major Tim Lentz said patrolmen now spend more of their time dealing with suicides and other mental health issues than any other type of call.......Today I was pulled over by two Louisiana State Police on Robert Blvd. in Slidell to check for Seat Belt Violations (FOR NO OTHER REASON)for the 8th time in the last 12 weeks. Today, as Always, I was wearing my seat belt and my son in the backseat was too. He walked up to my window and saw that it was on. After asking me three times to admit that I wasn't, he Said "I don't like your attitude and gave me a Seat Belt Citation. We know Slidell is Broke, But leave us alone if we have done nothing WRONG! Quit taking our grocery money from us and your Police Officers won't have to deal with Suicide Calls. LEAVE US ALONE IF WE HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG!! QUIT LYING AND STEALING FROM US TO PAY YOUR BILLS!! WE HAVE TO KEEP A BUDGET: WHY DON'T YOU!!!

Please give them something important to do !!
