Overall

Please do NOT send your child/children to this school. The teachers will call and send notes home everyday if they could. They never praise good behavior. They only focus on the negative and the bad things that your child does. They call and leave voicemails over any little thing. On top of that, the curriculum makes no sense. I may have to let my child repeat this grade at another school because I feel like she has not learned anything sense here. This school is horrible and unorganized.

Please do not send your child ...

Please do not send your child to this school! It was a bad move for us. We change our child for a better school but quickly found out it was one of the worst mistakes we ever made. The Teacher my child had was Ms. Turner she taught 2nd grade at the time, and she was young and inexperience. We could not get her to communicate with us at all. My child did not bring home any homework and when I question her about it, she got an attitude. She would never send home any papers that my child did during the week for me to sign. When I talked to the principle Mr. Price he told me to set up a conference with the teacher. He never handle the situation, we got no where with him. Another thing was that the before and After care was handle by the boys and girls club. The children would be all over the school, or in the bathrooms fighting. It was too many kids not enough workers! No homework was done or if it was done it was done wrong. And when i asked Mrs. Mckinsey who was over aftercare about it she said "It was not there responsibility" to do homework, if they did help it was a courtesy. To make a long story Short we transfer our child to another school and found out he was not on reading level and we had a hard time getting him up to level. The Charter School is not what its crack up to be.

Not a good school!!!

I regret 4 changing my kids 2 this school... Inspire is not a good school to send ur kids. They have all these young teachers that just got out of college who doesn't have any patience with kids n don't know how 2 handle these students. I receive a phone call once r twice a week about my child behavior and sometimes it b something real pity n @ my child previous school they had no trouble out of her it is just them they can't handle these students they should have older teachers because the older teachers know how 2 handle kids n they r patience. This was a big mistake sending my child here I was really trying 2 give this school a chance since it was their 1st year but I'm just fed up n cannot take anymore n cannot wait till the school year is over with so I won't have 2 deal with these people anymore. And I'm not the only parent that feel this way other parents received these calls about their child behavior 2 when I talked 2 other parents about the school they said the same thing I'm saying that it is them not the kids n they also try 2 b sooo strict. So parents I'm warning u out there 2 save u the headache do not send ur kids there because u will b getting calls from them trust me n that will work on ur last nerves n it stress u out 2 cuz u get so sick n tired of it.
