Not ready to stop continuing his education and teaching after his university career ended, Dr. Neufeld is the founder and serves as the director of the fellowship at the Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Center, and is the founder and director of the Inova Health Total Ankle Replacement Program. He is also a clinical professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and a clinical instructor at Georgetown University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Washington, DC. My advice to anyone contemplating bunion surgery is not to wait. I had the “benefit” of seeing my grandfather and father’s bunions and hammer toes. My grandfather used to cut holes in his shoes and my father eventually just wore very large athletic shoes. I saw my big toes moving and knew what the end result would be. I think having the surgery before other complications arise will also help lessen the complexity of the procedure; and therefore the pain and recovery time. I think Dr. Neufeld is a very skilled foot surgeon and I highly recommend him! "

Camille graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines in 2007 and immediately after graduating, she specialized in Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy working closely with the Philippine Basketball Association and varsity team athletes from private schools in Metro Manila. She then trained under a Temporomandibular Joint Specialist to advance her knowledge and skill base in TMJ Disorders and Physical Therapy. In 2011, Camille moved to the US to further her PT career and worked at a general outpatient orthopedic setting. She has then moved on to acquire specializations in the Mulligan Concept for joint mobilizations, Graston technique for soft tissue mobilization and a certification in Dry Needling. She is currently working on taking numerous courses with the Institute of Physical Art and is considering getting their certification to be a Certified Functional Manual Therapist. She started working for the Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics in 2015 and has enjoyed working at a highly specialized field of physical therapy that helps restore patients to their previous function.
