Java Shack

Java Shack is the only coffee shop I'll go out of my way to visit. The drinks and food are great, the prices fair and the atmosphere (though in a small space) is homey and a bit artsy. One of the few Green Restaurant Certified (GRA) businesses around, I feel good about spending the little money I have there.

Java Shack has great coffee, and a cute little eating area. It is popular with locals, and packed on weekend mornings. But the coffee is great, the food is great, and it's nice not having to go to Starbucks. I'd much rather support local businesses, especially one like Java Shack that gives so much back to the community.
