Mining Camp Restaurant

Great fun place to bring guests from out of town. The Mining Camp is located on the west side of the Superstition foothills. The short drive going east from Apache Junction and Mesa takes you back in time. Take in the rough terrrain, the squirrely footpaths and trails, the saguaro, and the big sky above you. It's easy to imagine the year is 1900 with prospectors and settlers stopping by the Mining Camp for supper and conversation. I'd be willing to bet that the food at the Mining Camp is a thousand percent better today than the average meal would have been in the late 1800's. So pack up the family and give yourself to the great old-fashioned decor, the long family-style tables, the way your food is served, and what is probably one of the best souvenir gift shops in Arizona. Oh, and come hungry!

My Family has loved the Mining Camp forever. We started going in the early 60's and have eaten there more times than I can count. The food, the decor and sceanery are fantastic. We have to Combo evertime and never leave hungery. The hardest thing to do, is to wait for the meal and not fill up on the freash hot bread served while you wait for the main course.I highly recommend you take the trip from where ever live, your sences will be glad you did.
