New China Restaurant

I only eat at this Chinese restaurant. I moved over an hour away but still go to the area for appointments and I only eat Chinese when im in town.

The food at this restaurant is fine, but the service sucks. I went there last week and called in my order. I said that I’d be there in about 15 minutes to pick it up, so I was expecting to be in and out once I got there. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. When I got up to the counter, the guy behind the register pretty much just ignored me. I was just standing there thinking to myself, “I’m not invisible, am I?” I even looked in the mirror that they had up just to make sure, and of course, I had a reflection. I stood there for a good 5 minutes while he talked to other employees and talked on the phone. I was thinking to myself that perhaps my food wasn’t ready yet, and he was just doing those things until it was done. When he finally acknowledged me, it turned out that my food was already done and packaged; he just pulled my order from behind the counter. I was so mad; he made me wait there for I don’t know how long while my food just sat there and getting colder and colder. I started to just leave, but I had just gotten off from a long day at work and didn’t feel like going to any other restaurants.



Needless to say, I won’t be going back. Their food isn’t stellar enough for me to deal with the horrible and rude service. If you’re hungry for good Chinese food, I suggest that you go to the Golden Dragon in Jacksonville. In my opinion, they have the best Chinese food in the area, and the service has been top notch each time that I’ve gone there!



Hopefully someone has found this review to be helpful, and if you’re craving some Chinese food, I urge you to go to just about any place other than New China on Greenbrier. Spend your hard earned money at a place where you can get some decent service!
