Law Office of Dorothy Ferguson

Dorothy, and her staff (or lack of staff), does NOT return calls or emails (after she has her money.) Very frustrating. I have shown up for multiple scheduled appointments where she has already left for the day or forgot about our appointment. She has never been prepared for any of our court dates (no showed on 2 of them!) And during mediation, she talked more about what she wanted for lunch than the life altering decisions I was about to make. In which there were multiple errors in the order that she did not catch. The opposing party was ordered to pay me. They gave the money to Dorothy to give to me (due to protective order) and she refuses to speak to me, return my calls or emails. Now I have to hire another attorney to go after her for the money she owes me. She is very unprofessional at times (on Facebook during court hearings). Other clients personal information was emailed and mailed to me multiple times. I wonder if my information was “misplaced” as well?? I regret hiring her to help me with life-changing decisions concerning my child’s and my life.
