I will only take my dog to them. They are the best. Always friendly and caring. They always listen to our wishes for his grooming. Love them!

I don't usually write reviews, much less take any that I've read into consideration. I have been very pleased with the service I've received at Dog Days. The staff is always friendly and professional. I've been to a few other places, but they just can't compete. I have a miniature poodle, and lets face it, I don't brush him like I should, and he gets matted. So yes, they have had to shave him on more than one occasion. I prefer that he be shaved rather than them have to do an excessive amount of brushing and dematting that could do more harm than good. He always comes home smelling and looking great. The price has always been fair in my opinion. I've paid $40 every time, never any less. I encourage everyone who is looking for a pleasant grooming experience to pay them a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Our regular groomer was unavailable, so we thought we would try the groomer right around the corner. BIG MISTAKE!! I have two dogs, each a standard poodle. They were groomed nothing alike--one was cut so low that his skin showed, one ear was shorter than the other, and the sides of his head were uneven. The other dogs appearance was better, but both had scraped spots that were red and angry looking. When I entered the salon to pick them up, I saw the groomer holding onto his muzzle and physically jerking his head back and forth. I also noticed there was no talking, reassurance, or any noise heard from the two grooming tables. They then charged us twice what we usually pay. My poodle that they complained about his behavior--which is the dog with the jacked up appearence--is still acting very clingy and unlike himself. I would rate zero stars, but that was not available. I would like to add that these dogs have been to the groomers every six to eight weeks since they were puppies--four years ago--and they know how to act on a grooming table!
