Aidant Fire Protection, founded in 1974, provides a range of fire protection products and services. Aidant s product line includes portable fire extinguishers, fire alarms, fire suppression systems, security systems, closed circuit televisions, card access systems and special hazards systems, such as water sprinklers and clean agent fire suppression systems. Its also offers consulting, sales, service and installation of fire protection systems and has a computer aided design department. Aidant conducts seminars on the use and performance of fire protection products and systems for architects, engineers, end users, fire departments and insurance companies. It has fire alarm and air sampling systems available for live demonstration and its technicians are certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies. Aidant is headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., and has an office in Albuquerque, N.M.
