Cabena's Japanese Auto Care

I don't give 5 stars to anybody, but Cabena's earned it. I took my '05 TL to them based on a recommendation. My TL is my "baby" and has never been wrecked and never wrenched on. In fact, had never been towed until a recent incident. They had to do some major surgery - and it was like they never lifted the hood when I got it back. They MORE than lifted the hood. The hood was completely off when I went by at one point. Very professional - treated my car as if it was their own. No shortcuts, no games. Provided options and openly discussed pros/cons/cost. Chuck and his team were awesome to work with. My Acura will never go anywhere else.

Take your car here. I'm not sure if they even look at non-Japanese cars, but they'd do a great job. Cabena's is a family-run business and is honest, trustworthy, and fairly priced. For a small operation, they still provide shuttle service and a small waiting room with light snacks, TV, and wi-fi. Discounts, coupons, and promotions are not rare either. These people place customer satisfaction as a top priority!

I've taken my car here twice and will continue to take it whenever I have repairs.

I trust Chuck.

That should be their slogan.

Cabena's is THE place to go when you have car troubles.

If I told my best friend about this place, I'd say: Don't go ANYWHERE else but Cabena's. Chuck and Nick are so friendly and knowledgeable they are willing to take the time to answer all of your questions thoroughly and respectfully. I feel like because I am a woman, most repair shops will try to take advantage of me because I don't know what I am talking about, but not at Cabena's. Whether my Acura needs an oil change, or I need a new clutch for my Honda, Cabena's is the only mechanic allowed to touch my car. Finally a mechanic I can trust! I will be a customer for life!

I've been using Cabena's for both my Nissan and Infiniti since they have been out of warranty and they do excellent work. They don't use pressure or scare tactics to upsell anything. They do the work you request and let you know when something should be considered. Their pricing is fair and they complete the work in the timeframe they quote. I recommend them as a good source for work on any vehicle which has gone out of warranty.

Did you hear the one about the guy that paid several hundred dollars at an auto repair shop and drove away with a smile on his face? Well it’s no joke! It’s true.

That’s what happened to me when I recently picked up my Honda Civic from Cabena’s Japanese Auto Care in Acworth, GA. Happy about spending money you say? Yes and in the last few years I’ve been on a search for an auto repair shop that would not leave me feeling unsettled after I paid my money and drove away. There was always something that just wasn’t right. From the parts that were used to the long list of things they said I “had” to get done for my car to work. I was frustrated.

I know parts aren’t cheap and a labor charge is worthy of a good technician so if you have to spend your money why not be satisfied when you do. I’ve tried the ”cheap” route and never realized just how expensive “cheap” could be. Cabena’s has fair and honest pricing and the job gets done right!

As you can tell, I could write a book but after finding Cabena’s, gone are the days when I drive away from a shop feeling nickel and dimed. Chuck’s team actually drove 100 miles round trip to get me Honda parts that became available. The job was done while I waited and yes Chuck really called me a week or two later to ask how the car was handling and if everything was working well. I need new brakes and a tune up soon and I’ll be driving to Cabena’s with a smile on my face.

Cabena's is the first and last place you will want to take your car for service. Discovering the team at Cabena's Auto Care for my car needs over the past 3 years has been such a blessing. Sounds kind of funny saying it, but after working with them and experiencing honest, knowledgeable and dependable people that truly care about you and your car, I'd be willing to bet that you will feel the same way too. Their ability to effectively (and transparently) communicate what the problem with your car is and the options to fix it is a far cry from my previous experiences at dealerships and other auto mechanics. Do yourself and your car a favor and head over to Cabena's to discover for yourself what a top-notch business Cabena's is.

Cabena's consistently saves me time and money by getting to my car fast when it needs fixing, going the extra mile to figure out what is the real problem (instead of doing like the other guys and finding the most expensive possible fix and experimenting with my money on the line), and giving me competitive pricing options!

I, like most people, have a fear of cars because I don’t understand how they work. Needless to say, when my mom told me about Cabena’s Japanese Auto, I was somewhat skeptical. After my CR-V had it’s first major issue with the starter, I was hesitant to go to someone outside of the dealer. What customer service though! Chuck and the crew, understanding that I am a financially strained college student, did some inexpensive fixes hoping they wouldn’t have to go all out and replace the starter. The fixes were enough to get me to a point where I could afford the starter and without hesitation I had Cabena’s fix it, they even credited the first repairs towards replacing the starter! You can’t get this type of service from a dealership service center, take your car to Cabena’s!

Go to Cabena's for the best all-around Japanese Auto service and repair experience. We consistently receive professionally delivered and complete information about car service/repair needs. Pricing is competitive, diagnostic skills always "spot on," and wait room is clean and pleasant. I value being able to talk directly with the owner/mechanic, and find his willingness to talk with (rather than to) me about car issues to be priceless. In three words: trustworthy, experienced, and awesome!

Cabena's has been a life saver and a car saver for me! I used to go to the dealer to get oil changes and left stressed not knowing what to do every time. Then I discovered Cabena's. I have only been in three times and feel like I have been going for years. They looked over my car and told me really what needed to be done an explained it to me. There was no hidden agenda and the things that needed to be fixed really needed to be fixed. I left there happy and content. I was called a week later just to make sure everything was running right. Chuck and his crew run Cabena's as if they were running out of a small town and when I walk in there, I feel as if I am home in my small town again. They remember me and my car. The feel of family is evident. I will not go to another shop again.

If you care about your car and want it to run at an optimum level you should take it to Cabena's. The owner of Cabena's takes great care of his customers, he is very honest and dependable. He has a great staff. I enjoy waiting for my oil changes because the staff makes me feel comfortable. I know my car is getting the best care at Cabena's. I have been a customer for 7 years and I continue to recommend their services to others!

After years of great service at Cabena's, I wouldn't consider taking my car anywhere else. If you want an honest mechanic that won't rip you off, go to Cabena's. If you want to know that your vehicle was serviced correctly the first time, go to Cabena's. When I moved to Acworth from Gwinnett, I struggled to find an honest mechanic. My friend recommended Cabenas. He had been taking his Lexus and Sequoia to Chuck for years. What a breath of fresh air! They are very knowledable, sincere, and resonable. If you're tired of paying ridiculous prices for your repairs and want it done right, this is the place to take your car.

I went to another garage for my emissions test; they told me that my engine was leaking. The next day I made an appointment with Cabena’s and they were nice enough to tell me that the other garage was trying to pull one over on me. I was so thankful that Cabena’s was honest with me and did not try to abuse my lack of knowledge.

Absolutely love the service ans people at Cabena's! I haven't gone anywhere else since I discovered them. The work is always top notch, the prices are very reasonable and the team always takes the time to explain exactly what was going on with my vehicle. I honestly believe they are the main reason my '96 4Runner is still going strong with almost 200K miles on it. Give them a try!

My husband and I were struggling to figure out what to do with our Xterra that kept overheating. Some friends of ours referred us to Cabena's and after going once, we knew we'd never use another mechanic. After inspecting the Xterra, Chuck called me personally to explain what they had found wrong with the vehicle and to review my options openly - some of the options even involved him not making a dime.
