My daughter saw Joe Wasson for four years, from the time she was 12 to the time she was 16. Her treatment, braces to stretch her upper and lower jaw so her teeth would fit. Everything was fine or so we were told. When she was 15 1/2 she started having severe jaw pain, she could not eat or yawn, I took her to see Joe Wasson and he said it was normal. The pain persisted and so did I. I took her to an orthodontist the next week in Germantown, Tn who was amazed at what he saw, and he told me "Go see Joe and tell him to tell you what is going on" which I did. Joe then told us that her jaw bones

were dislocated, which on happens.



I won't bore you with the six surgeries and the pain my daughter went through. Joe's office sent flowers to her hospital where she had to have COMPLETE MAXILOFACIAL RECONSTRUCTION. He would not adjust the bill which we paid in full. He was not proactive, he waited until we confronted him about the problem. He was looking at her a couple times a month or so I thought when I took her for treatment, how was this missed?!



I do not wish what we went through on my worst enemy, please do not take your child to Joe Wasson. Find another orthodontist. Joe was recommended highly to me and my family. But he failed my daughter. Years of pain and suffering and surgeries. This is completely documented. I would not trust him ever again. It did not need to happen.
