I cannot even begin to thank the Pet Athletic Club and their head trainer Scott Nordgren enough for helping make a dream of mine come true! A little over a year and a half ago I brought Daisy Mae, an eight week old cockapoo, home and welcomed her into my life. I bought Daisy with a very important plan in mind; I wanted to train her to be a therapy dog. I have seen firsthand after volunteering in a hospital how much joy a dog can bring to people and their lives; patient faces that usually showed no expression or hope would light up when the doggie brigade arrived. After witnessing this, I knew that Daisy could have a bigger role than just being my pet. I enrolled Daisy in puppy classes and we began working with a trainer right away. However, after several months of lessons and a board and train, that cost $1,500 dollars, Daisy was only performing sit, down, and her stay command was touch and go. In addition, she had a hard time settling down around strangers and was pulling on her leash. The trainer let me know he did not think she was therapy dog material and I had pretty much given up on the dream I had once yearned for…. that was until I went to the PAC and Scott. After meeting with him for an evaluation, I decided I needed to give Daisy one last shot and signed her up for the board and train. That is the best decision I ever made! The PAC’s board and train is night and day compared to the other I had taken her to. Daisy came out knowing 14 commands and able to work off her leash. In addition, Scott, knowing I wanted her to be a therapy dog, had gotten crutches, a wheel chair and walker to help get her familiar with the elements that would be part of the test. At the Monday classes that followed, he made sure all my questions were answered and provided valuable tips. I will admit I was probably one of Scott’s worst clients, the training and commands did not come easy to me. Scott was so patient and once I finally started following all the rules Daisy flourished. I am so proud and ecstatic to say Daisy and I took our therapy test on Sunday Oct. 13, 2013 and she passed with flying colors. I truly believe this is a testament to Scott, the PAC and the values/dedication both of them have for the work they do.

Pet Athletic Club is AMAZING!

I began taking my dog to the PAC in Jan. 2010 and have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They are very professional and truly have the BEST trainers I have found anywhere. I immediately saw progress with my dog after each training session. In the past I had taken my dog to multiple other trainers without success. Scott and Mic established a strong foundation of obedience in my high energy dog and also have done an outstanding job creating a protection dog that happily interacts with people and other animals. Most importantly they have taught me how to work with my dog and showed me that with following their methods and training schedule I too can maintain my dogs training. Their training is top notch, and their professionalism can not be topped.

I have even seen and talked to other clients who have had the exact same experience as I have and have seen their dogs grow and develop into very obedient well trained dogs.

I would never recommend another place to take your dog for training or boarding and look forward to being able to go out of town and leave my dog with such amazing people and know I would not have to worry at all.

Thank you guys so much! You are AMAZING!

BE CAREFUL, WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT ALWAYS WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!!!

We attended a very impressive but yet misleading demonstration at the Pet Athletic Club on 3/2/10. The tactics and strategy they used were misleading and falsely advertised. They won our confidence and trust by demonstrating a 4 year old trained dog, and Mic Foster the owner told me they could train my dog in a 35 day board and train program to perform as well as the demonstration dog. They required that all moneys ($5300.00) be paid upfront prior to training my dog. There was no written contract supplied to me only a verbal agreement and a guarantee that my dog would perform as well as the demonstration dog. My dog does not perform anything like the demonstration dog and I did not receive the guarantee or agreement made with the owner Mic Foster and Scott Nordgren of the Pet Athletic Club. Even though their advertisement states all training is nonrefundable, I feel the money should be refunded due to the dog not being trained to the guarantee of the program we paid for. BE CAREFUL WHAT PROGRAMS YOU SELECT AND PAY FOR. YOUR DOG WILL NOT TURN OUT ANYTHING LIKE CEASAR. THAT DOG IS PHENOMENAL AND CAN NEVER BE CLONED OR REPRODUCED!!!! THEY DO NOT OFFER ANY WRITTEN CONTRACTS, SO THAT WAY THEY THINK THEY CAN'T BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR SERVICES. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE CHOOSING PET ATHLETIC CLUB, WE WISH WE WOULD OF!!!!!

Our dog (Goliath) went to the Pet Athletic Club for a board and train. He stayed with them for 25 days, and he came back a different dog. He does what we say when we say it. It is amazing. The best part about the training is that we could watch atleast one of his training sessions on the webcams every single day. It was great. I knew they were treating my dog well and acutally doing the training. I highly reccomend this to anyone who wants a great dog. Thanks guys, we really apprecaite everything you did for us.Mark & Pam

Can count on them 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

My dog and I visited The Pet Athletic Club for the first time on September 20th of 2006. I have never felt so welcome or comfortable at a boarding facility. When I arrived the staff introduced themselves and had me relax in there little living room area. A young lady offered me a soda and a magazine while I waited for the owner to finish up his last appointment. After just a couple minutes the owner, whose name I think is Mick, came out and introduced himself to me and my dog. After discussing all of the available services, which there are quite a few of, including a daycare thing called Pactivity...which my dog now goes to 5 days per week, we took a tour of the place. The PAC is open, clean, smells great and like a gym on the inside.Key selling points for me....open 24/7/365, 16 cameras available over the internet 24 hours per day, totally cage free boarding, and a very well trained staff and Pactiivty.I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Thanks PAC.Jim S.
