Countryside Animal Clinic

I took my perfectly healthy 5 year old mini dachshund in to have a broken tooth removed. She died two days later. I have been going to Countryside for many years, but no more. I will be checking into a different vet for all my animal needs.

i have been taking my dogs to countryside animal clinic while i've lived here in tooele, and have been getting heartworm there for them. i saw the same heartworm medication online at drs foster and smith for almost half the price!!! when i contacted the office to ensure they would approve the prescription...they absolutely refused. they then offered to price match but would only match 1-800-petmeds, which is also expensive. i am sure that they are not helping me because they do not want to lose the business--well now, not only have you lost my business for heartworm medications--but for EVERYTHING ELSE too! if i could give a score of minus 100 i would! i am on a fixed income and am doing the best i can to take proper care of my animals, only to turn around and be price-gouged by my vet!

Are dog nearly died because she could not breath because she got a huge growth in her throat. We called there emergency phone number no answer and no return phone call ever.Had to go to a real vet joe roundu he answered and was able to get the puss ball out and didn't charge an arm or leg.Countryside vet is the worst out there

We have been going to Dr Gowans for 20 years now. He took care of our two dogs before they passed and now he cares for our four cats. He is wonderful. He is the kind of doctor you would like for yourself, but for those of us that have fur kids, we could ask for no better. Thanks Dr Gowans for all you've done for us all of these years. these guys are by far the best vets in tooele county area, i STRONGLEY recomend not to go to roundy when it comes to dogs. ( the other vetranarian in tooele )
