        this is a MUST try...

        My favorite doughnut is Chocolate Creme. It's almost sickly sweet, but I LOVE IT!!! It's got plenty of white creme filling with just the right amount of chocolate on top. They are almost always "plumpy"! These doughnuts are baked fresh daily and if you haven't tried them, you've GOTTA stop in. I find the prices are VERY reasonable and they even have great deals with their dining area too. The owners do tons of fundraising events here! This family owned business has been my favorite since childhood!!!

        Please don't pass this up if you have the oppertunity, because you'll more than likely regret it!! Delicious!!!!! YUM

        The wait was approx 20 min but the table service and arrival of food was very very prompt. Food prepared exactly as requested (eggs over easy, crispy bacon, dry toast, etc). The donuts were large by any standard, fresh, soft, tasty, and the jelly's were almost overfilled. The rest of the pasteries all looked great with a large selection. The establishment was very clean and comfortable. Prices were average for the area. The wait-staff were all very nice and accomodating. Because of "vacationing" location and reputation, they are always busy. But if you know this and plan for it, the experience is well worth the wait. I personally love jelly and honey dipped donuts. These were the best I have had within the New England area, including Greater Boston, southern NH, Hartford CT, Burlington VT, and southern Maine.
