I am very, very pleased with Suffolk Animal Hospital and Dr. Carr and the girls. They have been very good to me and to Yager and my girls. Yager had heartworms and now he is a happy, healthy dog thanks to Dr. Carr. I highly recommend Suffolk Animal Hospital.
I have a champion female standard poodle that has suffered with an ear infection in both ears for over two years. Tried this, tried that, nothing worked. Dr. Carr took a sample, sent it off to IDEXX labs and the ear infection is gone. Dr. Carr and her staff are very kindly and listen to what you say and let you explain what you want. They take the time and not just allow you 10 min and hurry you along. Dr. Carr comes and talks to you and listens to you herself. She does not run in, touch the dog and go and you never see her again. Then a bill is presented for the same amount as your house payment. Dr. Carr and her staff at Suffolk Animal hospital really care about your feelings and your fears and frustration. It is like they are being a doctor for you as well as for your pet.

Provided by SuperpagesThis clinic is the best I've been to. Everyone is friendly and seems to have a love for the animals. It's very nice to call and have a friendly person who seems to understand situations. I can always count on them to treat me and my dog like we are important. I enjoy when they share new things like renovations and products. I recommend this clinic if you want friendly and knowledgable service.

Provided by SuperpagesI've always taken ALL my pets to Dr.Bardales,since I've been in Suffolk ,Va.that has been 23 yrs ago. the one pet ,dog,Cindy, was very sick and he ,Dr.Bardales,actually saved her life .So I would love to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH .

Provided by SuperpagesWe have been going for 15 years - okay the office is not fancy, and he may not have GQ attitude or appearance, but he saved our cat where other other emergency vets couldn't with just great knowledge and experience. PS. We travel 40 minutes and pass a lot of other vets along the way.

Provided by SuperpagesI just picked my dog up today June 4th, great price! But my dog came back infested with fleas and ticks! I'm very upset, I had just given her a bath! She didn't have any fleas! I never seen back where they board the dogs but it has to be Dirty! Very unhappy!

Provided by SuperpagesI have 2 dogs and 3 cats and they all see this vet! I have never had a problem. Such caring staff and vet. No the office is not fancy but who wants a fancy office for a pet. I will never take my animals any other place.

Provided by Superpagesseemed very unprofessional -- doctor not on premise - when he was present, he just wandered around as if not knowing what to do with himself - instructions for post treatment of animal different from what desk clerk said - no billing statement offered - when requested, doctor wrote one out in pencil in different room - desk clerk copied over in ink - parking area filled with weeds - looked as though they might be on verge of bankruptcy - would not go back
