La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings & Décor

I have never wrote anything about not being happy with a business, until now. We bought expensive furniture for our newly decorated living room from La-Z-Boy at the Utica store on Hall Road. About 1 1/2 years after we had the furniture, I reached over the arm to put the lever that puts the feet up (this side of the loveseat was rarely sat in). I heard a loud crack and then saw that the wood holding the arm of the loveseat onto the seat had split. It was clearly a manufactures defect.
I called the company to let them know what had happened. They let me know that we would have to pay the $122 dollars for the service call. We had them come out, this was in November. The guy said we would need an entire new arm. He said it would take about 4 weeks to get it. 6 weeks later he brought the new arm, only to find out that they send the arm for the wrong end of the couch. He said he would put a rush order on it. Well it’s almost 4 weeks later and still no arm. Oh and by the way, he left the arm in worse condition.
We had one of the babies stand up on the seat and her foot slipped between the two seat cushions and got stuck, because the seats started to separate because the arm is like it is. It took us about 10 minutes to finally get her little foot out of there. We now have a rolled up towel between the seats, so it won't happen again.
