My wife and I came to town to enjoy the afternoon this past Aug 2012. Several people mentioned the car show at the city center. This was a great chance to see how SF is revitalizing the downtown. As we entered the side street where Whisky's is located. We could smell the great food and see lots of people and childeren on the street. We decided to stop in at whiskey's and est outside. No more than 10 min a group of college students from MSU Engineering showed up being drunk, loud, vulgar and abnoxious. We spoke with two waitresses and asked why the bar is still serving them, they reply was because they can pay. We decideded just to finish and leave until it became so loud I yelled enough there are other people here too. As now I became their verbal punching bag of vulgarity and closer of being physically beaten if some students didn't hold them back. Several other people voiced their opinion to the students but recieved the same..all along the Whisky's staff watched and served more alcohol to these MSU Engeering students. No thank you I won't be going back or recommending whiskey's or old downtown of Springfield Mo.

Big Whiskeys is a great party spot in the downtown area. The bartenders are great, and the food is not bad. They are known for their wings. Try them with the whiskey sauce.
