Nick's Moving Co

When we decided to go with Nick's Moving Company, I was hoping to be one of the customers who wrote raving reviews for this moving company. Unfortunately, this was far from the case. I can't express how disappointed I am with this business. We needed a couch moved last Sunday afternoon. I was quoted from the owner of this place for $450. Obviously, I know this is subject to change. Well, the final bill ended up being close to $900. Not only was our "quote" doubled, but we waited for an additional 3 hours past the scheduled time. When we called the owner because we were confused as to why we were waiting so long, he HUNG UP on my boyfriend who was anything but nice to him. The manager was frustrated and pawned us off to the drivers and took absolutely no responsibility for his business. The movers themselves were very kind but we feel that we were taken advantage of for this company to make a little more money. Beware. If you're thinking about going to this place, it may save you a LOT more money to shop around. Obviously, this doesn't happen to every customer, but I wanted to share my review so you don't get burned the way we did.
