Let me start off by saying its important to read/write reviews because thats why I called Ross and when we spoke the reviews were right, he is one of the best lawyer I hired for my mother's DUI refusal and this is why. Before I met Ross, a year earlier I got my first DUI case and went with a different lawyer. my lawyer talk the talk but was no help AT ALL and didnt know crap and just wanted my money. when i started doing my comm. service and classes, I started telling people my DUI story. they gave me some information that my lawyer didnt tell me before accepting my deal. I felt ripped off. SO when my mom was being charged with a DUI refusal, I wanted to help her pick a good lawyer. when I went through all the letter/flyer law firm had mailed to her home, I came across Ross letter. When we spoke he was upfront about my mother's case. he was honest and told me what i should expect for a dui refusal. He has a good connection at the courts, very friendly, reasonable fees and will work out a payment plan if you are not able to pay in full. I felt very confident about him so i hired him. At the end of it all, he got the refusal charge dropped to a first DUI charge 3 month classes, 11 days comm. service and most important NO Dirver License suspension. As for the DMV part even though i hired him after the 10 day mark for DMV hearing, my mom and i told him how important it was for her to keep her DL and not get it suspended for one year. I was arrested back in April, by young CHP, out for blood, looking to By the time I returned home their were 15 or 20 letters from attorneys in my mailbox. With a breathalyzer result .09/.09 I knew it would take some legal gymnastics to get this reduced, but I was so close to the line that it was possible, but this would be my 2nd DUI within 10 years. All the websites said it was an impossible feat the get a 2nd DUI reduced in California, of all states!!! I didn't give up and goggle'd, yelp'd and avvo'd every attorney letter in the mailbox and dwindled them down to 3. I recently received a DUI and I have never been so scared in my life. In the next couple of days after receiving the DUI, I got so many letters from lawyers who had gotten my info from public records. After doing my research and all of them, I came across Ross Howell Sobel's information gave him a phone call. Within speaking to him for just a couple of minutes I knew he should be my lawyer because not only was he intelligent, knowledgeable, and honest, but the one thing that set him apart from the other lawyers was that he cared a great deal about what happened to you and your case. I blew a .10 in the field and then a .09 at the station and after examining all the facts of the case he eventually got my charges dropped down to public intoxt. Nothing to do with a DUI!!! I was recently pulled over for a DUI in Glendale Ca. As many people know Glendale officers and court house are not the most lenient. 9 times out of 10 they will seek the maximum punishment. I ended up being charged with not only the DUI for blowing 0.07 the first time 0.08 the second time. They took me in for a blood test and it came up 0.09. While that was going on I was also being charge with a felony drug charge for them finding traces of Vicoden in my system and having two pills on me. I got Ross H. I have nothing but good to say about Mr. Ross Sobel. Prior to me hiring him, he took the time to make sure I was fully informed and knowledgeable about the court and DMV processes that were up ahead. Ross Sobel is hands down the best attorney I have ever worked with. From the moment I hired Ross as my attorney, he made sure I was up to date with everything going on in my case. At first I was a little skeptical with Ross Sobel's credibility just because he wasn't as expensive as every other lawyer, but I did my research on yelp, random google search, and spoke to him on the phone and he seemed very legit.



As soon as I mentioned which court I was going to, he was very knowledgable with the jury, the judges, and all the other non-important people we don't care about but unfortunately the law does. So at that moment, I knew he was credible from the get go, because it proves he has worked on numerous cases and knew what he was talking about. He seems to keep a great relationship with lots of the Court people so they work well with him as well.



Before considering Ross Sobel, I called a couple of other lawyer but most of them were socially awkward and not that great with people skill or guests relations, or it was obvious they just wanted the $$ and not try that hard to beat the case for the individuals. But Ross Was different, before I even told him I wanted him as my lawyer, he was kind, and helpful with the whole process asking details about the incident, and what I should and shouldn't do etceteras. He seemed like the right one for me, so I decided to go with him.



Throughout the whole process, Sobel did my whole DMV Hearings, and checked up on me with any concerns and questions I had for him, such as DMV license being revoked, and how much it would costs, etceteras.



He is a busy man, so when he doesn't pick up the phone when you call him, just leave a message and he definitely always gets back to you on time.





I'm writing this review now because I am excited that my DUI with a blow of .116 and the legal limit being .08 was proven NOT GUILTY, and I got off without getting a DUI.



Ross Sobel is an amazing man, and I definitely work in the industry with lots of Alcohol involved, so if any of my friends or acquaintance I know received a DUI I will DEFINITELY forward them to Ross Sobel!



BTW I paid less than 1,500 for this, and most lawyer charges Over $2,000~3,000. I do believe in Karma and which is why i'm taking the time and effort to spread his word so others can be rescued with a BETTER possibility for success like I received.
