Arclight Cinemas Sherman Oaks

I love this theater and the option to choose your seats before you go. Not as busy as the one in Hollywood.

It sucked. I've been taking my 85 yr old Mother to the movies once a week for the past fifteen years and the cost of normal movie tickets for two is currently around nineteen to nineteen fifty. It was twenty three fifty here and the seats are smaller and not as comfortable as most theaters. We usually bring our own bottled water since normal concession prices are outrages but every other theater we go to gives a free refill on a large popcorn which is usually seven or eight dollars. Not only do they not give a free refill the large popcorn is the size of a medium at all of the other theaters we go to. We have been to over 620 movies over the past 15 years so I think this makes us regular movie goers and we both agreed that we will NEVER go to this dump again. At least the parking was free which is the only reason I would even give it ONE star. The Pacific, Regency, Regal, AMC, Mann, UA, and even the cheapo Laemmle are all better. This place is just insulting to us common folk.

You can't beat the extra attention you receive at the ARC light. Seating is definitely different when you ahve to choose your seats prior to. But the theater is always clean and the movies are never screwed up. always on time. It is more expensive, but for a decent night out, it is worth it. Not prime to take to your kids as it is crowded and lines can be long. However my kid ran away and the styaff went out of their way to track him down. Thanks!

Would give five stars if parking wasn't an issue. Resisted this theater at first due to cost for a family of four but it is totally worth it for seat selection! Good food too.

Arclight in Sherman Oaks is one of my favorite movie theaters. I love the fact you can buy your specific seat in advance. The seats are comfortable and the staff is pretty helpful. The food (especially at the Galleria) and bar give great dining options. Only issue is the parking lot can be a bit crowded.
