Amorcito's Mexican Cocina Y Cantina

Nice decor, service was good, but the food just wasn't very good. My wife's salmon salad appears to have just been thrown together. Some of the lettuce was not fresh enough to be served, the core of the lettuce was in her salad along with a piece of the stem that holds the tomato to the vine. I had a Mahi Mahi dish with no real flavor and my crisp cool side salad was put on the hot plate next to the entree which just doesn't pass the food presentation test for me. In short, just not worth the money and with so many good Mexican restaurants in San Antonio, Amorcito's was mediocre at best.

Amorcito's has now become our favorite restaurant in San Antonio. It was also just named "BEST NEW RESTAURANT IN SAN ANTONIO". The food is fresh and the service is great. A sure fire winner.

My wife and I went here for lunch on Sunday. Nice atmosphere. Employees seemed nice. Food was good, but not outstanding. Prices were a little high, but the portions were large. Overall a nice experience
