West Harlem Supply Co Inc

I visited West Harlem Supply Company in my hunt for shady perennials. Not only did they direct me to full sun plants, they had no shady perennials that I could locate. I inquired about a red-leafed plant with no tag, which was sitting in the sun and sustaining sunburn on the leaves. That told me it was a shade-loving plant that no one was caring properly for.



When I asked about it, I was told it was an African Lily, which I found out later was entirely wrong. When I went to purchase the plant, the owner, who was working the register, walked away from me and left me standing for about five minutes. So much for customer service.



Bottom line: the people here don't know anything about plants and they have no interest in helping people. I will never go back to this nursery.
