Lairds Glass & Mirror

Very disappointing. I had a window and a few screens that needed to be repaired. I had previously had some work done with another company that did a great job, but I figured I'd give Laird's a try. After all, I like to support local companies and Laird's is only a few minutes away from my home. The owner, Tim, came by, took measurements, and said he'd call me when the parts were in (~1 week). Two weeks later...no call. Finally I called Laird's and spoke to Tim who was shocked that no one contacted me. Apparently my window came in broken, but he told me my screens were done. Again, he promised that someone from the company would be calling me in a few days. Another week went by...no call. I ended up stopping by the shop myself one Saturday thinking that I could at least pick up my screens and check on my window order. Mind you, this was now TWO months later... Tim was in the shop at the time. He told me my screens weren't repaired but it would take 5 minutes to do, yadda yadda yadda. I politely asked him to give me my screens and left. I can't imagine how this business is still around when this is how the OWNER runs the company... Such a shame. I wouldn't recommend Laird's to anyone.

Laird's is a great local business that provides personal service and treats you like a neighbor. The prices are reasonable, they provide good advice, and usually beat the prices of the big chains. They do on site repairs (they even drove from Plymouth to Detroit when my car was broken into!)
