If Zero for the number of stars were an option they would have gotten that!
I spoke with 3 employees about my membership ending and wanting to come to the museum two days after the expiration of my membership. We live 2.5 hours away and were not able to make it there again before it expired.
I first talked to Airelle who was not helpful, then I asked to speak to a supervisor and they both told me that memberships are $75 and since we only paid $40 through groupon we already got our money's worth. I was asked if I wanted to speak with the Director of Membership and she called me back in an hour. She told me that they expire after a year and they do not extend for any reason and that noting could be done. I was told that, " People buy memberships all the time that they do not use, we have 26,000 members, and we couldn't do that for everyone." They were very short and rude and made it clear that their members interests were not their primary concern, it all comes down to money. So sad.
We will not be going to the Carnegie Museums again because they are only concerned with the funding and not the customer experience

Perhaps the best history museum in PA. A variety of exhibits for almost any taste, and great programs for school field trips. check their website!
