I've been getting my haircut from Danie at Willow Salon for over 3 years now, and she does such an amazing job and really takes pride in her work. Every time I go in to get my haircut all of the girls are super friendly and they create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. It's no wonder why they keep getting voted one of the best salons in the Maple Grove area since they first opened. I highly recommend making your next hair appointment at Willow Salon and finding out for yourself just how great of a salon it truly is.

I recently moved to the area and was in need for a new Stylist. So i went to the internet and looked up local salon's in my area. I came across Willow Salon and really liked what i saw on their website and so I decide to give them a try. I went in and was scheduled with who i believe was the owner Michelle. I sat down with her and she began a very short and rushed consultation with me and then acted like she cared what i had to say. I should have at that point gotten up and left but thought it would get better. Boy was I dead wrong!!!! She began coloring my hair and putting foils in my hair even though i told her I DID NOT want foils she did it anyway. She then had another stylist rinse me out after i sat by myself for almost a hour and a half. The stylist who rinsed me out smelt like a ash tray and was very quick and rushed and it felt like i was being burned by how hot the water was and i told her and she then replied "oh it's fine." They ruined my hair and i will never return! Avoid

The most horrible experience I have ever had at a Paul Mitchell Salon. I love Paul Mitchell and all they stand for and this Salon does NOT hold to the same standards. Stuck-up, rude, "better than you" attitude. I like to get my hair cut by people who are Real and love to do hair. You could do much better for the money. I'm heading back to Fantastic Sams in Champlin!

I have been going to Willow Salon since they opened their doors. I left my stylist downtown because I was bored with the same old style and the prices were getting outrageous. Danie has been my regular stylist but on occasion Michelle, the owner, has cut and colored my hair as well. I am so happy with my hair every time I leave the salon. Danie, Michelle and the rest of the crew at Willow are always very friendly and I feel like I'm a part of their family when I go. I highly recommend Willow to anyone who is looking for a new salon in Maple Grove, it is clean, has a wonderful atmosphere and as an added bonus they use Paul Mitchell products!

I went in for a haircut and it was the best cut i have ever had. Michelle the owner did it and she was so amazing and really educated me about my hair and the products Im using. I would highly suggest Willow Salon to anyone, great service, great people and great price. I have never felt so welcome!

I have always had my hair done by the owner Michelle.I went in for a root touch up,and she fried my hair it is braking off and falling out.I had to cut my hair very short,to cut off most of the damage.I paid a lot of money to them over the years to them.and is sure wasn't worth it is time.I will never go back again,I have even contacted BBB about this,

Was very disappointed. If I wanted a 10 minute hair cut I would have went to cost cutters and paid alot less money.

I have been going to another salon in Maple Grove and then they moved to a newer bigger spot and my stylist left so I tried Willow. I was surprised at how beautiful it was inside and the prices were a relief. Danie was my stylist and she was amazing! I would highly suggest you give them a try.

So i have had a hard time finding a hair salon that listens to what you want and i have been to too many other "upscale" (is the poor term they sell you with at most salons to make you pay more which is BS!) and i just got sick of the very expensive run around i was getting from other "salons" But than a friend suggested Willow to me and from the moment i walked in and they treated me as an individual and not a just another client whose money they are seeking. I was warmly greeted by the guy in the front of the store AND the owner?! that was so awesome meeting her and not wondering if some faceless suit hiding in their office and i was set up with Nikol (my new friend) and she suggested i go a little shorter with my hair and it was the best decision/suggestion cause i finally look as good as i feel. I was very disappointed to see some of the negative reviews on here and by the things they wrote they must have been talking about somewhere else because Willow Salon is now my new favorite

My wife made me go see michelle and it was the best cut ever. She used a straight razor on my neck, that was aweome. She taught me how to use the products and stly my hair without being to pushy. My wife was right...Michelle was excellent!

I went into Willow for the first time and had the owner Michelle do my cut and color. Not only did she give me the best color she educated me on how to do it at home. She was funny and it was a great price since I was referred by a friend. Never had a better cut!

I get the phone call a day before my appointment, that I have an appointment, BUT with a different stylist. Michael is gone. It happens yes but this is the second time in two years this has happened to me at Willow Salon.It would have been nice to receive a phone call in advance to buffer the situation, but I think they assumed I would be just ok with another person.

I absolutely love Michael. He is the best hair stylist I have ever had. He is always attentive and does a great job. My hair has never looked so good. I constantly get comments about my hair color and cut. I have referred many people to Michael and they love him as well.Thanks Michael for doing such a great job.

I am an experienced salon manager and every month I have a hair service at a new salon, this month I selected a salon in Maple Grove Minnesota. It was a cute salon well marketed, although had horrible staff! I walked into the salon and no receptionist was anywhere to be found and there was only two stylist working. One had a client and the other was chatting in the chair next to them. The level of professionalism was lost. The conversation was about I believe past employees. They quick changed there tones as I welcomed myself into the salon. From what I gathered the client was a good friend of the Salon Owners or managers. I was hurried through my hair cut and was very disappointed how dirty each station was. I received a dry cut then shampooed and more cutting, not told in consultation. Michael was very unfriendly and he did not give a good shampoo it lasted 2 minutes. I had my hair redone when I flew home. I would not recommend this facade of a salon!

I have gone to Willow Salon a couple of times now, and the visits have gotten progressively worse each and every time. The last time I was there, I received the absolute worst haircut I have ever gotten in my life. When I booked the appt. I specifically asked for a stylist that was experienced with long hair. I walked in and was given to a young man who clearly had no idea what he was doing. He proceeded to chop off over 5 inches of DRY hair and then razor cut my entire head. On a previous visit Michelle had mentioned that "I should never allow a stylist to razor my hair" based upon her knowledge of my hair. She was not present at the salon this visit or I would have brought it to her attention. The young man finished my "cut" then took me back to be shampooed. He then brought me back to the chair and proceeded to cut more hair. I should have stopped him but it was past the point of me even knowing what to do. I did leave multiple messages for Michelle but was never called back. I DO N

I took a picture in and got exactly what I asked for. Which has never happened! All the stylists talked with me and made me feel at home. I loved the whole thing. I found my place!!! oh, and it didn't hurt when I paid the bill...

I just hadn't been able to find someone to do my hair they way that I want it done, it seems like the stylist always does what they want. Michelle did exactly what I wanted! She is so nice and funny I felt instantly comfortable and knew I had found my "person" Give them a try! Also, their prices are AWESOME!!!!!
