because one star is the lowest i can go.
began their services four years ago - the price was right, but you get what you pay for. skipped days, lying promises of coming back or just putting the garbage in the recycle truck and vice versa. FINALLY CANCELLED in July of 2019 AFTER MAKING THE QUARTERLY PAYMENT AND HAVING NO SERVICE FOR TWO WEEKS. Have called numerous times to have the bins picked up, but why would they do that since they didn't pick up the garbage or recycling? contacted the Better Business Bureau in their home state. Heard from BBB, but republic sent me an email telling me to fill out a complaint form with details. Obviously their telephone reps don't do that. Called three times (August, September, October) to be sure that my account was cancelled. I was assured that it was and the nice young man seems to remember my calls. Got a phone call from Republic in November saying my account was past due. Thinking they would pick up the bins, I watched them sit outside my driveway at three this morning, but no one got out of the truck to collect the bins and the cans didn't go rolling out to the truck, an eyesore that have been setting there since the beginning of July.

Rude, customer service. Moved on June 6th, was billed for the rest of the month, but the worst part was that they could not pick the container up until July! a month after cancellation.

Most horrible billing practices I have ever experienced

They refuse to answer emails - routinely lose all information/forms faxed to them giving them charge card billing info.(including my personal 3-digit code on the back of my card I don't think they should even require to be faxed as they lose the information!!!!) One person calls and says received - next says we never got... They had acct. set up on direct bill to charge card - card updated to new exp. date yr. They refused to take over the phone - they said they tore up all my signed forms - asked me to fax again - was repeatedly faxed - they repeatedly lost... Today I get a delinquent past due bal. bill - "YOUR Service is at risk of interruption" and they charged my charge card. What inefficient billing people they choose to employ. Major frustration trying to deal with these totally incompetent people!!! Phone line must be off the hook - they have a constant busy signals. Not enough lines?
