Welcome to Uninflected Pictures, an award winning, globally connected creative group--fully integrated feature film, advertising, and digital agency known for its creative films, commercials, presentations, campaigns, virtual and live experiences. Our name says a lot about us. First of all, the definition alone begs a question, tied to its direct meaning and its application to moving pictures. The definition of Uninflected is; not having inflection, monotonous, not varying in tone or pitch. Although, its definition is a bit nebulous--as a standalone word--it is far from that when put in the context of visual storytelling. Sergei Eisenstein (film director and pioneer of theory and practice of montage) explains that the definition of FILM is THE JUXTAPOSITION OF UNINFLECTED PICTURES creating a montage which is the story. When broken down an Uninflected Picture has no ego, it isnt trying to show off, and is ONLY serving the story but when combined with other Uninflected Pictures it creates a whole new meaning, so by the juxtaposition of Uninflected Pictures we create a visual story that is engaging, interactive and informative--pieced together in the consumers mind, INSTANTLY. At Uninflected, we try to live by these same principles that Mr. Eisenstien (coined father of cinema) used in producing his moving pictures. Whether we are collaborating on an independent film with Spike Lee or doing groundbreaking work for one of our clients like TrueCar, we know that the outcome can only be better when we stick to our principle; collaboration with our clients is imperative, giving back to our community makes us better human beings and innovation is key to our creative process. We also believe in finding the right blend of talent and expertise for each project. We collaborate with some of the most experienced people in the world to ensure that we always put the right team in place to ensure success. This philosophy has resulted in accolades from our clients such as Pentaho and TimeWarner. It has also given us the opportunity to work on projects with respected multi-dimensional artists such as James Franco.
