I'm in the restaurant right now and I can tell you the staff is not sanitary at all!! The touched dirty dishes and wiped the floor and never wash their hands. Then touched clean silverware and peoples food

I went there for the first time yesterday and I was not impressed at all. I ordered 2 filets of catfish...one blackened and one fried. The blackened piece was not done at all ( I could barely cut it with a butter knife). I sent it back and my new piece still wasn't completely done! Towards the end of eating the fried piece I discovered that parts of it were under cooked as well. The manager basically told us that the cook said it was ok and it was our "opinion" that the food wasn't cook well enough and she would not discount our bill. Isn't our opinion the only one that's counts since we have to eat and pay for it??? We refused to pay until something was done and she called the police! So in the end I ended up paying full price for a partially cooked meal, suffered the embarrassment of the police being called because we were standing up for what was right, and then the manager had the nerve to say that we weren't welcome there anymore! As if we would ever set foot in a place that does not value their customers in the LEAST bit! Needless to say I am NEVER going back and I will be contacting someone else about this matter! They shouldn't get away with this type of low-grade, disrespectful service.

I have never tasted any soul food better. I really love the hot cakes, catfish, macaroni, yams....It's Just Great!!!
