General Info: ApprenTEC (ATEC) provides computer equipment and PCs at reasonable prices. ATEC is a program of Hope Training Academy (HTA), a nonprofit organization that provides training in IT with the goal of filling workforce demands and providing a pathway out of poverty for underemployed members of our community. In 2020, HTA launched a US Department of Labor Industry Recognized Apprenticeship Program in Cybersecurity, Networking, and Computer Support Specialization. Apprentices in this program repair and refurbish computer equipment for use by students at HTA and for sale through ATEC. All proceeds fund scholarships and services for HTA students.
