Gaffney Medical Center

This was a horrible hospital experience. I went in with terrible stomach pains and vomiting. I was to the point where I was too weak to even stand up. After nearly 5 hours of waiting, I got put into a room and still had to wait. They gave me an IV and did not even put me on a bed where I could lay down. They never offered me anything to eat or drink either. Not even a blanket. They took my blood during the time that I was in the waiting room, and it took nearly 6 hours for them to even tell me what was wrong with it. They said my WBCs were high and that's it and they will put me on antibiotics. I was in terrible pain that whole day and they would not even talk about it or ask me about it. I had to ask them to do more tests because I knew it was not normal. They diagnosed me with colitis. They did not tell me how I got it. They did not care about me and I could tell. I had to ask for a bed, water, and a blanket. Not once did a doctor come in and ask how I was feeling.
