Branch House Tavern

Went to Knuckleheads of Flowery Branch on 3/27/12, for lunch. I sat myself in a booth close to the bar. There were four people at the bar, and two people in a booth. Included myself, this made for seven people in the restaurant at the height of lunch hour. This should've served as a warning.

No one greeted me, no one came by and handed me a menu. The lady bartender made eye contact with me several times, so she knew I was there. The one waitress they had working the floor, gave the couple in the booth their bill and disappeared. After five minutes of waiting, I got up and left. As I walked out, the gal bartender remained silent, not even a "Can I help you?" or "Sorry for the wait." She said NOTHING the whole time I was there. Obviously, they didn't care if I ate there or not, nor did they care about my current or future business.

I can only surmise if this is Knuckleheads idea of Customer Service it makes perfect sense that they would only have seven people in their restaurant at the height of lunch hour.

Don't waste your time going to Knuckleheads. Their staff needs to be overhauled and trained in the basic concepts of customer service, such as greeting people when they come in, NOT disappearing into the back when someone sits down waiting for service, and generally acting like they'd rather be doing anything else than working at Knuckleheads. This is the most lethargic, do-nothing staff I've ever encountered. Go ahead and close, please. Let someone who knows how to run a restaurant have a crack at it.

Not a place to go.
My husband and I went to this place to order a take out food for lunch. I ordered Philly cheese steak and specifically said no mushrooms, onions and pepper and my husband ordered chicken sandwich. We waited for 40 mins before we got our food. (I know this is not a fast food restaurant, but the waiting time is so long even there is not much people in there) We saw our ordered food at the counter but waited for another 5 mins before the lady gave it to us. Without checking the food inside the plastic bag, we left. When we are in the car and driving, I opened the bag and was so upset because my sandwich has all the the things that I ask that I don't want in my sandwich (mushroom, onions and peppers). My husband's chicken sandwich is burnt and the burnt side is covered by cheese. You can't even eat it because it tastes awful. We ended up just eating a part of my philly cheese steak bun. The fries is not that good too. Even if this is the closest restaurant from Old Federal Park, I would rather drive a few more miles to find some good food than spending $30 for an awful food.

I've read the other reviews and wonder if the reviewers were having a bad day. We visited Knuckleheads this evening. The service was very friendly and very attentive. All of the staff were engaging and friendly. The food was excellent and prepared just as we ordered. The five star rating is deserved. We'll be back!
