(3 mo. wait); got (automated) reminder call a couple of days ahead of appt., but when I showed up, was informed that "the doc is not coming in today" and no one had bothered to tell me; new appt. 6 weeks later; this time I had the wisdom to call in on the day of the appt. and was informed I had been switched to a doc who I know nothing about, and given the choice to see this this doc or wait another 3+ mo. for a new appt. with 'my' doc...

The dentist and assistant were good as are the people who try at the desk. The problem is Advantage itself and the system. Everything is so hurried to maximize MONEY for the big corporates it is impossible for even caring staff to give good care. This is the bottom line. After first getting forgotten about in the getting dentures process then I was given complete horrible aftercare. Had to find out how to survive from other dental websites and online resources. No excuse for some redhead to read some generic inadequate instructions to you at the end then hand you a paper with inadequate instructions on it. Never met someone who seems so uncaring in my whole life as her, seen her go though her speel several times qs people were beong hurried out!!!

Dr Andrews the new dentist in Eugene is amazing and very caring I will drive to Eugene from Newport in the future he is great ����

Had a abscess tooth. Called the day before and they got me in right away! Waiting was less then 10 minutes. Dr. Looney helped me. They do schedule appointments out because they are always busy. But it is a really nice clean place!

This place is absolutely horrible. The way ALL Advantage Dental offices in Lane County treat patients is inhumane. Please don't just write online complaints - this place needs to be turned into the Oregon Dental Board! People with toothaches are waiting for months to get dental treatment. Patients are being exposed to more radiation because by time they get their appointment their condition is much worse and MORE x-rays are needed. I heard a child in the waiting room crying from a toothache and the mother begged to let him have her scheduled appointment - 6 weeks out! This is NOT OK. My neighbor went to Advantage Dental too - she's 62 and has always taken good care of her teeth - three years with Advantage Dental and she's probably going to HAVE to get several more teeth pulled, and dentures. She changed dentists and her new dentist didn't want to say much but you could tell he was appalled and he did tell her who to call! People call the Oregon Dental board if you're a victim of Advantage Dental!

Avoid at all costs. I had a tooth with a substantial older filling shatter and called for an emergency appointment. I was told to come the next day at 8:00 am. When I got there I went to the desk and was told that I did not have an appointment and that "they always do that", meaning the schedulers make appointments wrong. The woman told me to call at 8:00 everyday and they would only be able to treat me if on one of those days a long appointment cancelled at the last minute. She said they only had one such appointment that day and that she had seen someone else pull into the parking lot right before me (the women was still in her car talking on the phone and had not walked into the office yet) so she was going to give her the appointment. I believe the woman at the desk was Elizabeth and she was cold and condescending. I am sending a formal complaint. I moved to The LCC dental clinic on Willamette and got in right away and got a crown for $100. less than the quote by Advantage Dental.

I was treated and seen right away. They fixed my dentures and now I am out of a lot of pain. I can eat whatever I want now. I can actually bite into an apple. Highly recommend. Thanks

This place is truly awful. It is obvious that patients on state insurance get treated differently. Had friend schedule appointment immediately after I did with private insurance and got an appointment 3 weeks earlier. Unfortunately have several appointments left here. Just trying spread the word and have other people avoid the frustrations. When Dr. Hans Hochstrasser assistant came to explain the deal reason for the wait she stopped to talk crap about previous patient ts driving away before telling me to essentially deal with it or make another appt. For months later. Both the receptionist and assistant are bitchy and two faced. They obviously get off make others feel worse. I wish I would have picked another dentist.

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews!!!! They are not "trainees" they are amazing and genuinely caring!! The staff and assistants made me feel so comfortable!! Dr.Johann Hochstrasser was the dentist who performed all my work today and I was so pleased with my comfort level and my work!! He was so knowledgeable and sincere that I forgot I was at the dentist! I wasn't in any pain and was mesmerized by his eyes! :) Not to mention he was able to squeeze me into his busy schedule! I also saw Dr.Looney who was also amazing! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuinely nice dentist! :) This is now my primary dentist! Also My wait time was less than 5 minutes each visit!

DO NOT go here! They messed up one of my fully functional teeth and refused to pay to get it fixed RIGHT. They are all trainees, they dont know what theyre doing. My tooth is now conpletely messed up because of them. I wouldnt suggest this place to my worst enemy, unless of course you want to be one of their practice patients. Seriously, worst place Ive ever gone to. Been through two dentists there and they both seem like theyre fresh out of college. Look them up, they have no experience listed, only hobbies. And their hobbies arent even spelled correctly! Imagine that. -_-

Don't bother. You'll wait in the lobby for an hour after your scheduled appt time and have to listen to the secretaries whine about people (happened twice). My son also had a toothache and they couldn't get in in for months with OHP but I call for a full exam with private ins and got a appt 3 weeks out.

My 13 year old daughter was abused and mistreated by the dental hygentist that was doing her cleaning. She was called names and left alone and bleeding. She was called stupid, spoiled, and a typical rottenteenager. The hygentist told my daughter that she quits and was no longer going to work with her. Now she is afraid to go to the dentist. In my opinion no child should be left alone in their treatment rooms.



The front desk staff is very unprofessional. They were more intersted in talking about their tans to each other than greeting patients.



The entire experience was horrible. We left the clinic with my daughter crying and bleeding. I am presently filing a formal complaint with their corporate office.
