Seven Gables is our favorite place to eat. Our 6 year old son even enjoys the experience of learning the art of fine dining. The owner and staff are friendly. Seven Gables is unlike chain restaurants in that you get original chef-created dishes made at the time you order. You should come with the expectations of an elegant, relaxed experience with Five-star cuisine brought to you in courses. The atmosphere and ambience is very charming and the decor is very eclectic and provides a cozy setting for a group of friends or an intimate dinner for two. Ask for Chef Alain and tell him Kim sent you

As a frequent customer I highly recommend Seven Gables if you are looking for fine dining at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service is great - as is the food.

My son and husband took me to ...

My son and husband took me to Seven Gables about an hour and a half ago for Valentines Day; and I must say that I am mad as heck. It was horrible!! Our first clue that this was going to be a bad experience was when we entered the restaurant at 4:55 and told the owner ( I am assuming he was the owner), who also almost hit us in the parking lot. I guess he was trying to get to work before 5pm. My husband explained to him that we had made reservations online this morning but did not get a response and was not sure If our reservations were confirmed. He stated to my husband that he does not check/or had not checked e-mails. Okay???? Second clue, the ceasar salads were not as fresh for a restaurant who label themselves as "Fine Dining". The so called fresh bread was not so fresh (O'Charleys and Outback put them to shame). My 16 yr old son ordered the filet and lobster tail...the steak should have been middle rare, but came out middle well (you could barely see a sign of pink), My son's comment to me was " Is this a filet mignon steak?", and his lobster tails was over-cooked. My son would not eat the steak, but did manage to eat the lobster tail only. I ordered the rack of lamb middle cooked. It came out more middle well with literally four slices of carrots and a heaping teaspoon of potatoes (the tsp potaotes would not have feed a 2 yr old).I ate one and a half of the five small chops; was going to eat it all because I had not eaten all day in anticipation of my Valentines Day Dinner, but became ill during dinner. Was it the food? I can't say for sure, but I do know that I was fine before dinner and I fine an hour after dinner. My husband ordered the ribeye steak which as also over-cooked, he was hungry so he ate it. My son and I left Seven Gables still hungry and mad for spending $128.00 for an awful meal. P.S. the glass of wine was very good.

My family and I are new to Conyers; we just retired from the military and are coming from Stuttgart, Germany. We vistited many restaurants in Germany, Italy, and "France and when they say everything is cooked fresh....you can believe it and taste the freshness. I say this to say that Seven Gables (who claims to have French cooking influences) should know better!!!

Fantastic Dinners

I take my family and clients to Chef Alain's every chance I get to enjoy the fabulous meals and ambiance. We always impress our clients taking them to Seven Gables.Funny we hardly look at the menu anymore ,we just call ahead and the chef just creates for us,what an experience? but he knows our taste by now although he adventures sometimes and makes some Pheasant dish or Venaison or Couscous,we love every bite. Thanks for the memories Big Al.

I went with a friend and it wasn't very busy for a saturday night, it is a small a cozy place the food was good, I had the strimps fettucini and my friend had the crab meat ravioli, every thing was fine but we notice that the owner, came out and greeted everybody but us, so that made us feel unwelcome, I don't want to think he is racist but that is the impression we had.

Thank you for coming to our place to enjoy a great dinner.I am sorry that you felt this way.I do my best to approach each table and welcome our guests. If I seemed like I have overlooked your table I appologise. It could be that I was called to the kitchen or to the bar and later forgot to come back and complete my tour,it certainly wasn't intentional.

What a beautiful restaurant !!...

What a beautiful restaurant !!. It is a delight to discover such a gem of restaurant in a town full of chain eateries. This a couple chefs owned establishment . they have been serving this community for the past 20 years .We have had the filet bernaise ,the dover sole and the alaskan king crab legs ,all are superb. The roast prime rib is really prime and juicy. The creme brulee we can never do without. Thank you Seven Gables for beeing there!!
