Dr. Azmi E Farag, MD

Dr. Farag's office prescribed ADHD medicine (Vyvanse) to my wife who has depression, anxiety, and a drinking problem. The drug data sheet clearly states to not prescribe this medication to anyone with these symptoms. My wife's issues are now 100X worse. She is paranoid, thinking that I am cheating on her. Her alcohol consumption has increased 10 fold. And her depression is much worse. I called his office and left a detailed message to tell her Dr. the side effects and they never returned my call. They called my wife and told her that I had no right to call. We are on our way to divorce if she doesn't die first.

I have been seing karen the FNP there for 3 years. The wait times where always a long but worth it. She was very caring, listened what I had to say & addressed my concerns treated me with respect.. Unfortunately she had to leave and was replaced by Gina Mundell NP. I had been working with the previous np on a few issues. My visits with Gina had been very difficult. She treats me like I'm a child, interrogates me like I'm a criminal and doesn't listen to what I have to say. She refereed me to a pain specialist which does not fill out fmla forms and refers back to my pcp.. I told her this on my visit but then accuses me of trying to go over the Dr's head, claims that she was told by him not to approve me. When I investigated with the other office they stated that was not true & the Dr had not been in the office.. They're more issues but cant fit them all. My advice is stick with Dr Farag & avoid this unethical amateur. I've had better experience with a workers comp Dr than her.

Dr. Farag is a wonderful Dr. I have been going to him for almost a year and I was referred to him by a patient/friend who has been seeing him for years. He takes his time and listens to everything you have to tell him. He has a very kind and patient staff. He also has a very good Nurse Practitioner, Karen Migliaccio, that I have also seen when I couldn't get in with him. FYI, he has a very busy practice and it is sometimes hard to get in on the same day with him, but you can with Karen. The wait times are sometimes long for him because he does take his time with his patients. He doesn't rush you out the door like I have experienced in the past with other offices. I highly recommend him.
