Root Canal Treatment
Root canals are sometimes your tooth’s best friend, ending discomfort and clearing away infection – all while saving your tooth. The most common reason for a root canal is a tooth infection. Your tooth can become infected when you have a cavity that has been left untreated or when a filling fails and allows bacteria to enter your tooth and then stays under the filling. Untreated,the infection can worsen and spread into the bone at the end of your tooth. This infection is called an abscess and can lead to severe health issues.
