Doc Sweets Candy

Rip off. My child was sold a gift certificate that expired a few months later. I called the store to see if it could still be redeemed and was told that it would, but when my child brought it in the owner declined to honor it and gave me a very hard time. I told him about the phone call I made but was basically called a liar. I bought my son the candy anyway (as it was already promised to him) but I won't be going back. DO NOT buy a gift certificate there. They don't care about Michigan law (5 years minimum expiration on gift certificates) or their consumers. So sad.

I love Doc Sweets'! It is my favorite place to spend my extra cash. I have no idea what the last poster was talking about because I take my nephew in the store all the time. The staff is always so friendly to us. I gave my nephew a budget and the cashier who checked him out was patient and helped him get the right amount of candy to get to his budget. I have been to Doc Sweets many times in the past and I will continue to go for a long time!

Went in with my 3 small children. From the moment we walked in we were followed around and my kids were told "not to touch". It is a CANDY STORE!!!
I called to complain and was told by the owner that his staff did nothing wrong. My concerns were not addressed! Will not return!
