Fair cajun food but crawfish were terrible (visited in Oct.) And gumbo was poor I watery. Catfish and shrimp were good with a good salad bar. Pretty fair price for a tourist town and seafood buffet but it ain't New Orleans

The place sucked!!!! The place SHOULD be shut down!! The flies in the were terrible!!! Someone at this place does not have ANY idea what a seafood buffet should be!!! We would have been better off going to the the Golden Corral !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The breakfast Buffett was great and the place was clean when you can cook the eggs right, your doing a great job. The only problem was that there was a man walking around trying to get you to come see a show while you were eating. I do not like to be bothered while I am eating and that should not be allowed. That is the reason for 4 stars.

We travel quite a bit and try to sample "local" restaurants when we do. We will NEVER return to Starvin Marvins. All the veggies were bland, along with the boiled shrimp. The first piece of catfish I tried was pretty good but the next was undercooked. The fried shrimp were like eating a ball of batter, no shrimp inside. The hushpuppies were dry. Total waste of $20

- In 1984 Larry and Jeanette Rogers made the move of their dreams. They loved the Ozark Mountains and while they owned their own restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana their hearts belonged to Missouri. With each other, they took a leap of faith. Starvin' Marvin's was originally in a log cabin just west of Silver Dollar City. As Branson boomed, Starvin' Marvin's moved to the "strip." Locals came to enjoy the quality of their homemade food. Cashew and Sweet & Sour chicken, hand battered onion rings, smoked BBQ ribs and saddle blanket sized pork tenderloin were just a few of the favorites. In 1994, they decided to bring some of their own heritage Cajun cooking into Marvin's. Known for their "seafood with a Cajun attitude" the addition was a success. Customers come for the All You Can Eat Seafood Buffet and "The best legs in town."
