        I was looking forward to returning to the restaurant we visited on our honeymoon 35 years ago and I was so disappointed. Great service but I was so disappointed with the menu which apparently changes very regularly. I was disappointed with the lack of a fresh seafood options and the extremely small portions. I guess you can just never recreate an old memory.

White Pillars is located in a restored and beautifully updated beach front home built in 1905 known then as Gunston Hall. It opened for the first time as a restaurant in 1969 known and loved by many as a gem on the Coast. Its doors opened again in 2017 with new Owner and Chef Austin Sumrall and his wife Tresse.
