We went to his business 3 times to get the tumblers in door lock changed and even set appointment times and still had excuses why couldn’t get it done. I do not recommend his services.

I've had him out a couple of times. Always prompt, knowledgeable and pleasant. Fair prices, too. Would highly recommend to all.

We have done business with Indian Lock and Key for years. We have an auto repair shop, Madden Auto Repair, and he has always been more than helpful and always friendly and works in a timely manner. I would use him for certain. His years of experience is well worth it!

I originally sent keys in to be duplicated and engraved back in January 2014. It is now June 2014 and I have not been able to pick up the keys even though I keep following up with them.



I know they have to make calls and there are emergencies, but how hard is it to call and let me know that something has come up and that they can reschedule me at a later date?



The two times I thought I was going to pick up the keys, the shop smelled so badly of cigarette smoke and everything was in such disarray that I wasn't sure how they were able to do any work in their shop. The first time, he handed me the keys, but they were not engraved so I handed them back and he said "it will take awhile to complete". The second time, he told me to come around 10:30am and he would have them ready for me. I gave them a little extra time and went in at 11:00am and I was told, "I came in too early" and the keys were not ready.



I literally called today 6 times and finally on the 6th time, I ask (still in a polite voice) if someone is in and if I can swing by to pick up the keys. I am told right off the bat "yeah I know why you are calling" and "you are catching us on bad days".



Believe me, I understand bad days and know that you have to drop items when there is an emergency, especially since locksmiths don't make their big money on duplicating keys, but by forcing me to have to continue to follow up with them when they could tell me "I will be back in the shop around this time. Just so you know, if an emergency comes up I will have to answer the call, but just call ahead of time and I will answer the phone and let you know if I am at the shop or out on an emergency call."



Because of the terrible customer service I received, and was even told in a not so subtle way that I was not worth their time and energy, I will respond appropriately by not utilizing their business for any of their services in the future.
