We went to Chalet Basque for an evening out, heard they had some live music that wasn't hip-hop/rap. Bar was extremely loud with the rap/hip-hop music expected at a dance club to the point of having to almost yell your order to the bar tender who was rude & had no customer service skills at all, get better customer service at McDonalds. We got our drinks & sat on the patio. They had a guitarist playing music like Santana & Clapton, sounded great, nice atmosphere outside. The guitarist was supposed to play till midnight but again the rude bartender had to ruin that also, about 11:30 he goes & turns on the speakers playing that rap hip-hop junk, brings out a 6 pack of coors still in the cardboard container for his buddies & starts drinking & kicking back with his friends. We lasted about 5 minutes of that music & left. We won't be going back there. Anyone know of a quiet bar that has a decent atmosphere without the rap/hip-hop, dance music blasting out of the speakers?
