        Old style shop, excellent service good quality work looks like the do a lot of small machine repairs too! They were also the only locksmith willing to help me get a key for the tool box on my truck, great group of guys!

        Needed a spare key to my desk. I went to 3 different hardware stores including a major brand and none had the type of key needed. Went to A-1 Locksmith in Ames and had the right key made for $2.00 and in less than 10 minutes. Never under-estimate the value of the "Mom & Pop" type personally owned business.

        HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Took less than 10 minutes to get here, about five minutes to pick the lock and was SUPER cheap, I will never, EVER call anyone else.
