Primary Care
Dr. McLean obtained her undergraduate education at Loyola New Orleans in 2004, and she received her doctoral degree from Oklahoma State University with an emphasis in applied behavioral analysis and school psychology in 2009. She went on to complete an internship and fellowship at the Boys Town Center for Behavioral Health in Omaha, Nebraska where she was trained in a Primary Care Pediatric Psychology Model.

Our urgent care scheduling feature is intended for the care of patients over 3 months of age with acute illness symptoms (fever, cough, ear pain, sore throat, etc.,) only. This feature should not be used to schedule appointments for check-ups, sports physicals, behavior concerns, ADHD, depression, or any chronic conditions which may require additional time to address appropriately.

Dr. Deskalo’s primary clinical interests include: anxiety, disruptive behavior, ADHD, and traumatic stress, but she also has experience treating many additional presenting concerns in children and adolescents.

Since early October, we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of children with acute and severe respiratory illnesses. We have also seen a significant increase in the number of Mental Health visits. As we head into the holidays, we anticipate the continued spread of respiratory viruses. Because of this, as well as ongoing staffing issues, we have temporarily limited the number of well check appointments scheduled during the winter months.
