My car service stood me up so I had to find an immediate transportation or I would have missed my flight. I called Alexandria Yellow Cab and they provided a prompt service to the Ronald Reagan Washington Airport.

My dad has worked for Alexandria Yellow Cab since 1968 as both a cab driver and a supervisor

After more than 45 years of employment, yesterday, they let him go with a phone call as he got ready for work.



Alexandria Yellow Cab was his first job. No benefits, no severance, no retirement -- they told him to "apply for unemployment."



He couldn't even say goodbye to the co-workers he's worked alongside for years.

Totally unreliable. Booked online the night before because I knew with bad weather that had happened that day the early morning would be a challenge. Well it did me absolutely no good to think ahead. They did not dispatch a cab, calling them once my cab hadn't showed up was worthless. The driver never came. I had to go to expensive and difficult alternative. Completely pathetic. No ability to plan ahead or deal with snow even though all roads were completely passable and moving along well.

The car was great, the driver professional and the price was very good. We will use them again and again

It sure is nice to ride in a clean cab and with someone that is professional and interested in me and not his own wallett. I have been in cabs where they go the long way to the destination and are rude to boot. That was not my experience and would recommend them to anyone!!
