Jazzyblues Cafe

They serve really fresh soul food. The whiting was excellent and so was the mac and cheese and the greens. If you want some really good soul food in a nice ole school restaurant while you listen to live smooth jazz, then this is the place. Kinda reminds me of the restaurants in New Orleans and Savannah!

I don't know if it was a change in staff, but I was sitted around 5:30pm, we ordered our food and drinks. Our food came out at 6:45pm, the only reason we stayed because it was my friends birthday and this was the place she picked. I has fish, mac and cabbage. The cabbage was crunchie, mac & cheese was on both our plates, the fish was room temperature. The other person had rib tips because the hostess said the ribs were not ready, rib tips were though. The only enjoyable part of the meal were the yams. We informed the host the hostess the mac was cold and she took it back to the kitchen to have it warmed up, she never once ask us if the food was alright. I ate here back in April and it was enjoyable. I have never been so disappointed in a meal.

Jazzy blues is a great experience whether you like food or music. The staff is knowledgeble and warm. If you love great food and music jazzy blues is the place you should be.
